reflectra® Stichfoil can be handled easily on any embroidery machine just like a regular appliqué.
Once reflectra® Stitchfoil has been embroidered onto the fabric, just use a hot press to fix it permanently. The reflective characteristics of reflectra Stichfoil will make your decorated garment visible for 24 hours a day!
Processing Recommendations
1. Tear support material gently with your fingernails to remove it from the reflectra® foil
2. Use spray adhesive on reverse to fix the reflectra® foil temporarily on the fabric
3. Stitch directly through the reflectra® foil onto the fabric. Use normal stitch density an stitch lenght for your outline satin stitch
4. Remove excess reflectra® foil inside and outside
5. Fix the appliqué with a hot press:
medium contact pressure, 15-20 seconds, 160-180°C,
cover with fleece
Technical Information
reflectra® Stitchfoil is a thin and flexible, polyurethan-derived transfer foil.
We only use solvent-free binding agents.
The foil is supplied on release paper which needs to be removed before placement on the fabric.
