STEP

Looks Like Embroidered...

…but it’s a structured fabric that looks remarkably identical to
lock-stitch embroidery. Using STEP as base fabric for appliqués,
logos and emblems, you’ll save time-consuming filling of large,
same colour embroidery areas – while saving thread, time and
production costs! STEP is coated and ready for ironing and comes
in a variety of popular colours. Make your life easy!

Processing Recommendations:

STEP is ready to be embroidered,
e.g. as patch or appliqué.

STEP is backed with an adhesive coating
and should be ironed on after embroidering.
The permanent adhesive coating
prevents tearing or fraying of the
appliqué along the satin stitched border
while guaranteeing a bubble-free bonding
with the base fabric.

Ironing press: Temperature 175° C
Pressure 6 bar
Time 18 sec.

Best results can be achieved with laser
cut appliqué patches made of STEP as
the laser process welds together the cut
edges and prevents the appliqué from
fraying.
